We’ve collected hundreds of pounds of food in these events, plus cash donations. We are truly blessed by the generous folks in our neighborhood!

 Volunteers greeted shoppers and presented a small shopping list if they were interested in providing a donation of a non-perishable food item or personal product. Thanks to all who were willing to help, and watch this space for announcements about future food drives.

None of this would have been possible without the work of our wonderful volunteers!  Several of these volunteers would normally have been working at the pantry on Saturday. So our thanks also to those volunteers who covered the usual pantry duties.

As usual, Kathy’s role was critical to this event. She recruited all but 2 of the volunteers, not including me, Don Hubbard and herself. She’s the primary keeper of the key to the pantry, so she coordinated the movement of the items from Kroger’s to the pantry.
